Changing Dynamics of India's Foreign Policy: Challenges and Way Ahead
A nation's political, social, and economic well-being determines how far foreign policy can go and how effective diplomacy can be. India's economy and society are undergoing a major transformation due to the remarkable changes that have occurred during the past 20 years. Throughout this time, India has consistently seen strong economic growth, which has enhanced both internal citizen empowerment and international engagement. This has given India's foreign policy more clout and made it possible to devote significantly more funds to conducting diplomacy, which includes enhancing and re-establishing our diplomatic presence throughout the world.
Dr. Palu Joshi is presently working as Assistant Professor and Head (PG & Research) at Department of Political Science, Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur. She was awarded the degree of PhD by the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 2014 in Political Science. She has a decade long teaching experience, and her areas of interest are International Relations and Indian Political Thought. She has authored many research papers and is currently guiding four scholars towards the completion of their PhD degrees.
